Mi sitio

Tomorrow I leave for my site visit in a town of Chinandega, Nicaragua. I will visit the site for one week and get to know the important people (scary). Then I will return to my training for another 3 weeks. After the completion of this last part, a volunteer conference, and Thanksgiving, I will return to my site, my home for the next two years. It is a medium-sized town in a very hot area of Nicaragua. It fairly close to the beach which is a bonus, minus the threat of hurricane season lol.

More to come...I have to go pack!
(I am not allowed to disclose the exact site location so if you would like the name just email me)

  1. Hi Christine,

Love all the grammar lessons and can't believe an ALACRÁN is much more scary than an
    escorpion!

We had a fun Indian Road Halloween Party this year. There was much laughter throughout the night and a few new people showed up. I was happy to hear you went to that Super 18 Party since you are new to Nicaragua and have to get used to being away from those comforting, familiar occasions.

May your site assignment in Tonalá, Chinandega match your dreams of an ideal placement.

    Best,

    Ruth
